Married for thirty-four years, Modupe Ehirim is passionate about getting marriage right. She has worked as a Marriage Educator since 2014. She worked with engaged couples to prepare them for marriage using a structured program with modules about Building A Responsible Relationship, Building Understanding, Building Communication Skills, Building through Conflict, Building a Covenant Relationship. In February 2016, she was certified as SYMBIS (Save Your Marriage Before It Starts) Assessment Facilitator..

Prior to this, Ehirim worked in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for 17 years, in Engineering and Administration and took the option of early retirement in 2002. She started HIdden Treasures Bookstore, a brick and mortar retail bookstore in Enugu in 2003 which in 2015 transitioned to an online bookstore at www.hiddentreasuresbookstore.com.

Hidden Treasures Bookstore joined the Christian Booksellers Association Nigeria in 2004. Ehirim is the current National President of the Association.

Ehirim is a member of the NNEW (NECA’s network of Entrepreneurial Women), a group which promotes and nurtures entrepreneurship among women in Nigeria. In 2008, she benefited from the Goldman Sachs 10000 Women Initiative which provides business and management education for women entrepreneurs at the Entrepreneurial Development Centre, Pan African University, Lagos.
